Teaching Artist Series
HMD's Bridge Project Teaching Artist series brings world-renowned artists to the Bay Area to teach, show work and engage with other artists. The 2018 Teaching Artists are Kristin Horrigan and Heather Kravas. Past teaching artists include: Miguel Gutierrez (2017), Chrysa Parkinson (2016), Jeanine Durning (2015), Stephanie Skura (2014), and Susan Rethorst (2013).
The Lost and Found dawning walk, co-produced with KHFRESH Festival, was a four-hour event that began at 5am by the Petlenuc Creek water source in the Presidio on the traditional territory of the Yelamu, a local tribe of the Ramaytush Ohlone peoples. Thirteen silent walkers negotiated unknowing and unmapping, traversed by a layered San Francisco.
